• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

If anyone's looking for some decent quality prequel era SW meshes, pop over to this Sketchfab page:

Oh boy, I sense a Revenge of the Sith render coming up for my list...

Good find, I just really wish I could bring myself to actually like Star Wars designs.

Alright, how much would it cost to have EA's upper ranks assassinated? Like, all of them. Simultaneously.

It has occurred to me that Padmé Amidala may be a racist and that this could explain a scene in ROTS. First, we know that there were racial tensions between the Naboo and the Gungans for generations and she grew up in that environment. We also know that Palpatine, who is from Naboo, is a human supremacist. Thirdly, Padme didn't bat an eye when Anakin told her he killed Tusken children. Lastly, we know that, despite knowing that Anakin had killed children in the past, she didn't believe Obi-Wan when he told her that he killed children in Episode III. That last bit always seemed odd to me. Why would she think Anakin would never harm children if he had already killed some and he had been acting strange and a bit unstable? Unless she didn't think of Tuskens as people due to a racist upbringing.

Or I could be thinking too hard. Far too hard.

I suppose from a "certain point of view", Padme could be considered evil as well...

PS
We've been awfully quiet about the Solo movie, Anyone seen it yet?

Not seen it yet. I have however been to the cinema twice recently:

Avengers Infinity War - my sister worked on it so I had to go. A bit disappointing really, great special effects and witty one liners from the cast, but there were so many main characters in it that no one character gets any real dialogue or development. You sort of keep chopping and changing between people, and if you've missed some of the Marvel movies you won't really know whats going on.

Jurassic World 2 - Great film, go see it. Probably the most suspenseful of all the Jurassic Park films. They keep teasing you with the expected... and then something else happens. Lots of nods to the original film (possibly a few too many), but a very good film regardless.

Ark: Survival Evolved and it's expansions are on sale on all platforms. Already had in on Xbox for my daughter and just got it on PC for myself. It is very graphics and resource intensive. I had to set the graphics to low to get it to run smooth. I do plan on upgrading my PC but it will take time.

The advantage of being a poor boy with a responsible wife. I can let my wallet roam free and don't have to worry about much.

Is it bad that I'm already buying Christmas presents? Or am I just efficient?

I'd say efficient and frugal. Prices on common present things tend to raise as you get closer to Christmas.

Can anyone tell me if this ship design is based on another sci-fi design? I found it in an online game and it looks familiar but I can't place it.

BSG Strike Raptors had the extra rocket pods. I think one of the C&C Orca variants had it as well.

Correction, not Orca, the Aliens drop ship is what I was thinking of.

:lol2: Ours picks up one kibble, lays it on the floor then picks it up again and eats it. But sometimes gets distracted and runs off so the occasional kibble left behind to step on like Cabal's pooch.

Just had an issue with my PC that has me baffled.

Games started to get really laggy today. Checked my system performance and noticed I was using 94% memory. Looking through the process and it just wasn't adding up. I rebooted my computer a couple of times without the issue being fixed. So I watched a Youtube video on how to fix memory leak. I found that my leak was at 6.6 Gb of memory loss. I followed the instructions and rebooted my computer but it did not fix the issue. I went back and put what I had changed back to what it was, rebooted my computer and the issue was gone. I have no idea where that memory loss was going to.
