Cool. Sounds a bit... BattleStar Galactica meets Lord of the Rings... Which I like.

I had my first look at the Admiralty system. First impressions are not too bad. First it unlocks at level 52. The more ships you have, the more you have to work with. The higher tier ship ships you have, the better chance of success you get. I did a quick 15 min "mission" on one of my characters and got some craylon gas as a reward. If you do crafting, you would know that currently you can only get craylon gas from either the crafting pack (C-Store) or from an elite PvE queue. If this type of reward goes into the live build, then this could be a double edge sword. On the one edge, this will make it easier to get the needed rare crafting materials without having to wait for empty queues to fill up. On the other edge, this could make the already sparse queues to be even more so. I will share more as I dive more into it.

Finally the Guramba getting a new T6 level ship, with the javelin included. Might be the ship I have been waiting for and might get me back into the game for a little while. :D

Would love to see you back. Even if for just a little while.

Thanks mate. Don't know when though, it's getting to that time of year where it heats up here and so I don't like running my computer much. I'll probably soon restrict my PC to assignments only.

  • Bridge Officer Stations: 1 Ensign Tactical, 1 Lieutenant Tactical, 1 Commander Tactical, Lieutenant Commander Engineering/Command, 1 Lieutenant Commander Science
  • Console Modifications: 4 Tactical, 3 Engineering, 3 Science
Eng/Command seat which I find a bit odd. No universal seats :(

Now this doesn't happen very often. Cryptic listened to the fans and gave the new Prommie a universal ensign. I'm even more tempted now.

It's all good my man. I understand you have your things you need to take care of. Also, I have been playing SW:TOR more these days anyways. I have a new Sith sorcerer that I am having a lot of fun with.

As for the PC, have you ever looked into a water cooled system? I want to put one on mine just for the added measures.

Yeah liquid cool is awesome, my brother in law has it on his PC. I only use a laptop atm, so it's not all that viable. But I'll be going that route when I do end up building a desktop again. :D

Part of me thinks people are voting on designs based purely on which greek letter they were assigned. This whole thing is making me rapidly lose faith in humanity.

I jumped online just to snag it on Kevaas. I also discovered I now have 3,000 Zen from Stipends. I have well over a 1,000,000 dilithium too.

At least I'll be set when I do eventually get back into the game. :lol2:

They changed the voice of the bonnie-kin hologram and it's no longer scary. It used to make me jump while playing the mission

It was mostly scary (to me, anyway) because it was loud. What's it like now?

It's the same volume, but it's...different. Less of a strong entrance into the bonnie-kin thing

So this experience boost event is amazing. I just blew through one or two levels with one mission.

Cryptic has now announced the new lock box.

Herald Lock Box

Not really of a whole lot of interest to me other than the outfits. They look cool.

I would agree mate. I doubt this will be popular with the majority of the fan base.

I honestly would have rather they made a cross faction ship that used the Heralds aesthetics. Something that showed they were adapting reversed engineered tech to use.

Agreed, something along the lines of the Dyson ships. I get annoyed by all the alien ships, especially seeing as the Klinks and Roms need some love.

Anyway, today's giveaway is the Gamma DOff pack - but note that it is for one character only.

I was just about to suggest that.

Originally the lock boxes were put in to allow players to play iconic ships that they normally couldn't, like the Galor, D'Kora, Hirogen ships etc. However it seems they have just gone nuts. I really don't know how many people saw the Iconian ships and said "I want one of those to fly" same with the Voth ships or any other ship designs they actually made up.

I think when I get back into the game I'll try and gab one of those Delta Quadrant ships. I love the DQ and canon ships are what I like in the Lock Boxes.

Anyway, today's giveaway is the Gamma DOff pack - but note that it is for one character only.

Thanks again mate. :)

Today it's a 100 mark pack, it looks as if you can claim it for multiple characters.

All of my reputation reset. Was this a feature or a known bug?

Wait, I'm dumb. Nevermind

A pair of spec points for each character today. This is somewhat annoying as most of my characters still haven't reached lvl 60 and so cant use the points from the last giveaway yet!! Oh well, they'll have a heck of a jump when they get their.
