I think that unless a feature film/TV series directly retcons the USS Titan, the current interpretation of the Luna Class is a terrific choice for Riker's command.

Your Titan and Voyager look spectacular, which is very par for the course of what I remember your team was producing for the original Armada. I am very heartened to see Armada still have a pulse. I look forward to seeing what else you guys come up with.

And welcome back Phantom, from beyond the rim. :)

This is so true. I was going off of Rademaker's design, but wanted to also have my own unique twist on it.
Hello:
Mister EO?, can it really be?! What?! Oh, what luck, what fate, what evil fortune!

.... ehh... *ahum*... it's great to see you here! :excited:

Yes, Phantom did bring me back with him from the Rim. I had moved onto other games, where i learned a lot of new model techniques, but I am back with him in full force. I am currently working on a project for him, but just recently finished another ship.

Hello:
Just as I said in DeviantArt, this ship is awesome! But I didn't mention there how much I like it looks like it is similar (yet much more modern) to the Griffin class... the best Armada-created Romulan ship :D .

Wow Epytron_Omega, the Romulan Cruiser looks slick as hell and up to all kinds of trouble.

That new Bird of Prey however is on a whole new playing field, she looks wicked dangerous. Fantastic design, I cannot wait to see how she performs ingame.

Love that you guys are back and with a bang!

Thank you so much. it was trying at times to make both the BoP and this cruiser. But in the end, I am happy with the results.

Got some Titan WIP texture renders to update you guys this week :)

Hoping she'll be finished over the weekend, ready for me to go through TNG/TMP/DS9 and Voy for voice files for the events log... unless anyone has Jonathan Frakes' cell # haha

Renders look pretty as you can add some dynamic lighting here and there to make the ships look pretty.

Have tested up the existing Nova and Intrepid class in the game using Taras' sweet GUI he made for FT.

Will add more screens over the next couple days so it doesn't get confused with the Titan post :)

Needs a few tweaks for build on animation and bleeding but yeah... will protect any Fed Cruiser 2's against all energy based weapons for a limited time!

I remember how the community was shocked when you figured out how to add the armour.
Nice work, I'm liking the darker look to the Titan, never liked the beige patches on it.

There is a time limit on how long you can edit posts for, I think its 20 minutes or something like that. Of course the admins can our magical powers to do things far longer than that mwhahaha.

The Like button is on the bottom right corner of a post. Unless it's blocked because you are a "new" member.

I like the look of the Titan Phantom, its like she leapt from the cover of the novels and into the game with a few visual enhancements for flair.

The dynamic lighting looks phenomenal. It's absurd how good these ships look, considering they are running in the original Armada.

Hello:
It is great how you can do texture for TNG (and future) saucers. The details are looking very nice so far :) .

Yes, it's a very sleek and cool design. The comparison with the Griffin (which I am also very fond of) is appropriate. I will say that I am generally a bit skeptical of split-hulled fan design. They look very cool, but there's often not much substance to the actual ship (which the D'deridex made up for by being absolutely massive). Can you tell us how big this beauty is?

Guessing it's cause I'm new, my old account was closed due to inactivity :( and cool :)
Yeah, sorry about that. There's a sort of probation time for new members. I think you need 30 posts and 3 likes to get out of it. Looks like you have a lot of the latter already, but here, have some more from me. ;)

The D'lata Viahranen Class is going to be roughly 2/3 in length that of the D’Derridex.

Oh that makes the ship much larger than I expected, so kinda Valdore-ish... I am not complaining (much) though :D .

Ha! Same I thought it was gonna be sorta Nebula size rather than Sovereign size lol but ah well. She's a sexy beast so...

The ship is a remake of my 'DeathStinger' Class which was named after a scorpion like Zoid in the Zoids Chaotic Century anime (Future Tense is pulling talent and inspiration from all media haha) but with our experience we've made felt that a lot of the older models needed either refitting, replacing or being used as a 'concept' which is pretty much what Sam did. Can't wait for him to show off his other models to you guys!

Thanks for the likes :D will have to spam a load of blank messages to get back on track! haha - I joke

Hoping Titan will be done by end of Monday, Tuesday latest whilst Taras nodes up the damage nodes for the constructor and I can get that battle tank in game and show it all off.

Was going to tease some Borg pictures, but they need balancing tweaks as I didn't survive long enough to take a screenshot lol!

Only thing I have done recently is that station for you. :D I will have stuff to post tomorrow, as I have to go to bed for an early day at work. I have a few irons in the fire, and hope to have a couple fleshed out for you all soon to share.

Indeed it is always good. Armada 1 is close to 20 years old, and it’s good to see people still modding it. Same with A2. They are good games, that I still enjoy playing.

Hello people, I've been out for a while.... What to say... I'm excited to see Future Tense is back in the game :) Those models look awesome, modern, in-game photos too...
But I'm curious, how did you add 6-9 races to Armada 1?? I'll be honest, i prefer A1 more than crappy sequel, and I'd try to make 5th race for stock Armada 1 from ships of other races...

On the other hand, can you make 16 ships selectable in mod? And are there any tweaks in diplomacy section??

That sounds like a pretty reasonable size for the design, I like it.

I agree. I can't believe we're still at it. I wish all the best to all of you out there - may your textures be crisp and your ODFs be free of errors. :salute:
