[Request] Ship Request Thread

Ya I tried that but the image turned out so poor that I just hate to use it with all the great graphics in FO. They were to big, to small, to crooked, to grainy, to off colored or in my case multis. It was an offence to the game. I can draw with pencil and paper but stick a computer in front of me and my artistic abilities fall apart. But I may have to learn, if it just wasn't such a steep learning curve lol.

I would help but I have limited time on the pc these days, maybe if you still need help in a couple of months I'll be able to lend a hand, should have a little more free time next year. Or you could make a request to come of the other active members here who might be able to help.

Thanks for the encouragement and suggestions Majestic. I going to give this another try, with photoshop this time. Maybe I'll have better results. That being said anyone with a system background tga for one or more of the of the ships I want to add I would be very happy if I could use yours. Thanks.

Pretty certain there are blanks available on the FO wiki/guide in the modding section.

Thanks Majestic those blanks from FO sure helped I got a half way good looking Achilles and Proteus Class system background imaged made. I'm still don't happy with my Dawnstar. If thinks keep going like they are maybe I could get you to make me one when you get some spare time in a few months. Thanks again.

I think I remember seeing a ship pack that contained the non-Enterprise ships from Star Trek 2009 (Mayflower, Newton, Kelvin, etc) but I don't remember if it was here or on one of the other A2 sites out there. Has anyone else seen such a pack?

EDIT: So comparing the 2009 designs, I just realized that all those ships from 2009 are present in the Axanar pack. Sorry about that!

The 2009 and Axanar designs are similar but different in the details. There was an old 2009 pack on Filefront once upon a time.

So now I'm looking for Armada 2 versions of two Romulan ships from SFC3: The "Shrike" (completely different from the A2 ship) and the Falcon. I already have the Hawk and the "Raptor", just looking for those two.

Also, does anyone know if a faithful recreation of the Romulan frigate was made? Thanks!

I have it in my files but some smarty-pants renamed it as the *Harrier* for some reason.

No luck on the Falcon though, I'll ask around if FleetAdmiral01 or Horton has some copies to spare.

I think the Starbase 34 mod had a different version of the ship with a galaxy saucer, connie hull, and three nacelles, which matched a description from something behind the scenes if I remember correctly

I'm wondering if anyone ever did the Yeager class? I've been looking around on armadafiles to no avail. I mean, it is a pretty ridiculous kitbash of the Maquis Raider and the Intrepid, but still rather cool looking! And it's grown on me since you have to see it in every ds9 opening sequence.

Sticking with the theme of Intrepid variants, I've always thought this early Sternbach sketch for Voyager was sooo dope for having a dorsal fin evocative of a sailboat...

Look up the Borg Incursion 3 mod on Gamefront and you'll get the Yeager. I think some variation of the proto Intrepid was produced but I don't know if it was for Armada and I don't know if it was the fins version

there is a couple of models over on SFC files for the proto intrepid but both are based on the physical study model that was made which lacked the sails .

I remember seeing this concept in TV guide back before the showed premiered. It is the second one with the nacelles hanging down below the pylons. I always liked it.

Anyone has the ORIGINAL Missouri Class form SFC (or was it SFC2?). Not the KA one with the thousands of torpedo launchers hidden deep in the hull but the original one that was somewhat more elongated.
I found something on one of the BC mod sites, but it cannot be imported into MS3D and the NIF importer causes to crash my 3DS Max...

I've found two versions that seem to have appeared in the KA2 mod at some point, so I'm not sure which one you're referring to. I think the current one in KA2 looks like the original in the game, if I'm not mistaken.

EDIT: And as far as I know, the Missouri was never part of SFC. It started, along with the Yamato, in KA
