great job mate!!
Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.
Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.
We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.
However, I simply can't get it out of my mind, and I feel it may become a bit of a problem in the future. Just a heads up in case things suddenly go south for me...
As long as you don't release anything publicly you're covered. You can use them in Armada 2 without permission problems, just don't release them on any web-sites.
Alright then, don't need to worry about the guilt creeping up on me. Only problem now is the converting. Asking someone to do them for me and send them to me; I interpret that as a sort of release, despite it being sort of private.
*sigh* Gotta do it the hard way again...this may take a long time.... >.<
A release is something publicly available, so if you got someone else to do it then sent to you, it is not considered a release. But if you made it for download anywhere on the web, or transferable in a mod or on a cd or whatever that is considered a release.
Asking someone to help with something you can't do isn't a release but a request for help.
Wait a minute, I recall Dan1025 doing a retexture of p81's model using DJ's wonderful textures. Have you tried asking him for a copy?
Sadly, I lost mine during my pc crash of 08'
Like the shot of the Midway
"But I do have a question were are my the escort fighters, " Col. Laban "Hellkite" Collins Commander, Air Group, USS Midway
Although while I like the Gryphon shot, why did you capture the running lights? It's a little distracting. Just a minor gripe though.
Frak. Jusy noticed that myself. Have to agree, don't really like having those on smaller ships, they're too oversized. Gonna need to take care with those in the future
