Personally I"m speechless. I am not a fan of the post episode 6 expanded universe stuff, but that is what they are doing. Episode 7 is already planned for 2015.
Do you guys think this will be good for the str wars franchise, or the final nail in its coffin?
On one hand, the less Lucas can mess with, the better, and new graphics could be awesome instead of upgrades and rehashes, but on the other hand, Disney + Ewoks =.....
I don't think its a great thing. Disney is too 3D happy and obviously needs marketing help after the John Carter fiasco(which seems more like star wars practice now)
Of course, maybe we will get force unleashed style fx for force powers? I always wanted to see that.
