Well... to be honest, I'm not really a fan of fighter jets at this point in my life. I know when I was younger though, I used to be a big fan of the Apache Helicopter. I bought models, watched TV programs, I even bought a game because it had an Apache on the front (game was crap mind)

As for planes... I'd say the F117 (Stealth Fighter) is neat, and you can't fault the colour, but it isn't really an 'ideal' plane. I think I'd go with the F-22.

I too love the P-38. What a fantastic design... fictional... eh... this time I just prefer real life, but if I had to make a choice: the X-Wing from Star Wars.

Oh I loved F-19 Stealth Fighter I was sad when I couldn't fly the F-19 on F-117A (you could fly the F-117A on F-19, if that makes sense)

It does. I played both and I found myself ever so frustrated with the gameplay by comparison. The F-19 was just so much a better plane.

Although F-117A had better maps. Notably in Cuba. Then again, F-19 had those awesome "Central Europe" missions that were damn near impossible. Aw, now I'm getting all nostalgic.

Now I dont really like Fighters, Yes they do win the Battle and Yes Bombers can end a war but their are things that even they cant do.

For my top Two Real Planes I got to say number 2 on my list is the

The plane that the X-men's Blackbird was based on.

And my # one Pick is the Lockheed Martin P-3A,B,C Aircraft.
