Well pretty close. I run to stay ahead of terra! And I dig my tractor out of the four foot drift that I got stuck in today so I can eat cookies and drink mountain dew.

Your right it does look like a self-propelled gun, and I was afraid of that. Like I said its a work in progress. I ran out of time last night and didn't got around to defining the main turret, but wanted to get some feed back so I posted anyway.

The new light grey area is going to be the Main Turret. I do need to work out exactly how it well rotate. I was thinking of having the main turret sit inside an armored lip on the main hull so a lucky shot couldn't go between the hull and turret. Not sure how to draw that in 2d? Thoughts?
I know I am late to the discussion, but that looks like a rough sketch of a tank with a rail gun on it. Not bad concept. I like the independent track on yours.

Due to the shape I would think of this as a Native American Tribes class. Inuit or Navaho.

Thanks for the name ideas guys. I like the native american name idea so i think I'll christen her as Cheyenne Class.

I really like Stellar Class so my next variant is going to be named that!

Quantum Class

400 meters at her beam. I'm guessing she will come in around 18 decks, but we will see. Pylons will rap downwards so the nacelle's are below the saucer sectiion.

Looking for some feed back. Trying for a more flowing design than my other ones. Criticism is much appreciated!

One small step for @Hellkite one huge honking quantum leap for a racoon artist! :lol2:

For what era would this ship be? As that can help you define the hull details and other shapes.

You are giving the racoon way to much credit Chile. I just draw em and then shoehorn them into an era. :lol2: But I guess post "First Contact".

Maybe so, but credits go were credits are due anyways ;) .

I like that front view. Maybe you can make it an experimental ship somehow? Admiral Hayes mentioned trying new means of propulsion to try and help Voyager while it was stranded in the Delta Quadrant.

Thanks Chile! Glad you like the deck plans. I actually use them quite a bit when I'm laying out my side and front views. Helps me visualize how big the ship is. One pixel equals one meter so my decks are three meters high.

You are welcome! I can see the usefulness, also because that way you make sure your proposed dimensions, like height, make sense.
