I second Majestic's opinion, simply gorgeous. That almost makes me wish I could see a full blown Raider faction. Love it RJB!

I'm pretty sure the Battle Wagon is only midsize by length. It's a very fat shippy ship.

True but it is also a mid sized carrier and cargo freighter tossed into one. Both those things definitely take up a lot of bulk.

Love the transport variant. Are you planning on remaking the ones we saw in the series at all?

Haven't decided on that. Right now my goal is to bring modernized designs base on the series with my own personal design twist.

You keep killing it RJB, just fantastic work.

I love the new Kneale Freighter and the Raiders are way better prepared to make trouble now with that Battlewagon.

Hmm that is a very interesting design RJB.

Unless I am mistaken, I see the influence of the Poseidon in the front with the back containing a little mix of the atmospheric shuttle?

Very unique!

I'll confess, from the thumbnail my first thought was Poseidon. But it is obviously a far smaller design than that. Good to see you cranking these out, even if it does put the rest of us to shame...

It's Definitely a mix of a lot of ideas. Part of it is influenced by newer designs like the warlock but I also had some influence from the smaller EA ships in the B5 wars miniature game.

I can definitely see what you mean when you see the thumbnail. lol

Thanks and I will.

It really does show, the best part is that it sort of fits as you can see that the EA is using existing technology to try different designs for their new ships. Just another beauty to add to the list RJB.

And I just love every time I see the Omega, it really is my favorite ship in sci-fi. :worship:

A new wallpaper :)
Glad you liked it.

I wanted to do a more bright scene that also had visual impact since the last few scenes have been very dark in mood.

Awesome image mate. I'd love to see the Raiders become a menace again in any future B5 productions.

With more conflict going on. (Centauri and Drahk conflicts) I can see weapons getting into the hands of less desirble groups. Or even having raiders funded by 3rd parties to disrupt supply lines.

Amazing wallpapers RJB, the tone of the Raider encounter is wicked breathtaking. I love it. Too many beautiful images to choose just one for a wallpaper here, may need to get a slideshow going. :D

And I totally agree with Maj, the Raiders need to get their due. While all the governments are at each others' throats the galaxy is ripe for the picking.

PS. Happy belated birthday RJB, hope the weather is improving for you fellas up there, we're still getting flurries today after a month full of storms down here in Massachusetts.

Thank you.

With the raider scene I wanted to draw from the game homeworld to come up with background ideas. Both b5 and homeworld both have very vibrate backgrounds so the styles cross over very well.

That's funny that you should say that actually because the mod that I played for Homeworld was the B5 mod. I used to love that game to pieces, perhaps I should re-install it and get that mod again.

That being said, I think you struck a great balance basing yourself out of it. I still remember sending my squadrons of Star Furies flanking my Omegas to the background theme of Adagio for Strings.

One of my goals for this month is to finish off some old models that have been put on the back burner. To start off I dug out my old Fenrir model.

Original design based on Stargate.

Had sometime so I made a decent dent in finishing this one. One more good afternoon of work and the modeling will be done.
