• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

Ok. Here are the rules.
1. Read the quote and guess where you think it is from. No new quotes until the one that is up is solved.
2. After someone posts the correct quote. Whoever posted it needs to tell them in this thread that they are correct.
3. Whoever solves the quote enters the next quote.
4. Quotes can come from anywhere in movies or TV.
5. After 10 wrong guesses. Whomever posted the quote can give the answer if they choose and place another quote OR give hints to help.
6. You can give hints to your quote after the third wrong guess.

I will go first.

Quote: "I'm the baby. Gotta love me!"

Intrepid, let CF tell you if your answer is right or wrong before you posts a new quote. Read the rules he posted. ;)

Edit: I see you fixed it. :)

Wheller, remember this rule:
3. Whoever solves the quote enters the next quote.

I had to delete your post because you didn't follow the rules in this game.

You got it right. Now its your turn to post a quote. LOL

I think I must post a reminder to him (Intrepid) about that, though. :)

Hey, yeah. Sorry. I was just reading the forums lately, but there was too much in my head to post something.

From one of my favourite movies:
"And suddenly I realize that all of this: the gun the bombs, the revolution...has got something to do with a girl named Marla Singer."

I know, the content of the movie is - not only partially - graphic.

Yes, you are!

Your turn Hellkite!

very well

here it is
Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin van-guarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition.

....And let me add that it is a pleasure to meet you, and that you may call me V.

"So you're some kind of crazy person, then?"

V For Vendetta. Good film. Better graphic novel.

My apologies, good sir.....:D I forgot that one.....;)

All yours, SfKid....:worship:

Though I believe this may be his quote:
"So you're some kind of crazy person, then?"

In which case, I don't have the fogiest, but could use on several I know...

Actually, it's the line that completes the previously mentioned V For Vendetta quote.

And the other quoted line in the meantime is Wyatt Earp, in Tombstone.

I'll come up with a quote in a little while. Real-life seems to be interfering with my online time of late.

:D

Okay, here goes:

"There are two kinds of people in this world, my friend: those with guns, and those who dig. You.... you dig."

Yep that it is

It is said that the future is always born in pain. The history of war is the history of pain. If we are wise, what is born of that pain matures into the promise of a better world, because we learn that we can no longer afford the mistakes of the past.

Babylon 5. G'Kar. For a grouch, spotty dude, he has some interesting insights. Can't remember exactly where, though. But those first two bits are oh so true....:(
