Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.
Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.
We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.
Oh right, good point. I had completely forgotten about that.Constellation Class impulse engines are mounted sideways...
This is a view of it in Milkshape
Not sure about this little alteration
Is this even possible!? If so... how?View attachment 18791

But can ytou really have those many factions ingame? Most of these are just the minimal files to have these show up. The factions are nowhere near started for the most part
Yep, that was an in-game screenshot using FO Classic. I don't know if vanilla technically has a hard-limit on the number of factions you can add, and the further you go down the list of players, the harder it is for the UI to show all of the factions correctly. I'd love to figure out if there's some way to modify the UI to include a scrolling section for the faction selection, but that's a bit beyond me to be honestBut can ytou really have those many factions ingame?

Are previews of those in the "Chiletrek's back into modding" thread?I hope the Classic A2 I use would also allow for that! Because of how many factions I have in the making
Sadly no ingame pics so far, only renders of the models so farAre previews of those in the "Chiletrek's back into modding" thread?
Looks like you want all those SFB factions in your install. Good luck to find models, for all of the roles of their fleets, for them.View attachment 18791

Someone made a series of mods for a DirectX-based game called Galactic Empires that includes several SFB factions. Atolm also made quite a few models for some others. I've got plenty of material to work with, and if I don't have something for a particular role, kitbashing is always an optionLooks like you want all those SFB factions in your install. If you're talking about the ones in the screenshots with the actual units, then I intend those to be fully playable. The screenshot with just the list of factions is mostly non-playable at the moment, but I do intend on expanding/converting them into playable factions. Are all those factions fully playable or are there some with only basic techtree for AI ally/enemy as well?
