Interesting classes, is the Yamato your own design?

So I decided to update the TMP chart with the vessels from Discovery, but I scaled them down so the Enterprise as seen in Discovery is the same size as in TOS.

Hello:
That is a nice work you've been doing, reworking the scales and getting ships from games too :) .

Looking much better in-game than I feared...

Still need to review Armada material suffixes for lighting. I don't know if the seeming lack of shadows is from the model or the map I'm playing on.

Decided to update the TNG comparison chart to include a lot of stuff from Aad Moerman, as well as some ships from other games:

The Aegean is based on the deck height of my model, and puts it at much smaller than the 500-something meters the game uses.

The Typhon, Achilles, and Odyssey are scaled based on info from Memory Beta. I don't remember where I got the length for the Zandura.

Iwo Jima is based on in-game length ratio.

Magellan, Zodiac, Incursion, Premonition, Dawnstar, Eximius, and Ronin are scaled based on Aad Moerman's Sovereign

Two questions. What class is the second from the bottom ship on the left, I don't see a name?

And how about a top down view;)

That ship is the Odyssey class, the design is from "Star Trek Online" and it has 1062 meters in lenght :) .

Yeah, I expand the chart by copying a text later in Gimp, then hiding one of them so I know which layer I'm moving and forgot to unhide that one.

Hello:
I have been learning to draw using Medibang, so I can understand the issues with layers and things like this totally happening:

Was looking at a head-on image of STO's Buran and thought it would look good with most of the center of the saucer scooped out (and I was still frustrated about the Picard stand-off scene), so that's where this design started. Didn't turn out the way I expected at first but not too bad imho.Split Saucer Thingy.jpg Split Saucer Thingy (1).jpg Split Saucer Thingy (2).jpg Split Saucer Thingy (3).jpg

Hello:
This is my opinion only because I am reworking my models from Macross, but I can totally see this ship's splitted saucer collimating energy before releasing it as the SDF-1 does :D .

Also, nice work with the secondary hull there, it is good to see your handling of spheres and cylinders  .

I thought about that, but I think it would work better in-universe as a carrier where the fighters come from or re-enter that area

Hehehe, my bad  . But your ship has a carrier vibe (unlike the Akira class) with a Bridge/CIC that could be at the top of the secondary hull's center, so freeing the saucer halves for fighters, equipments and living quarters.

So I love Lucas D'Anvil's work (not sure how I should go about linking his site), especially the models made for the Future Wars mod released a long while back. Decided there were a few designs on his site I wanted to take a crack at, and here's the results so far:
Summoner:

Hammerhead:

Not sure if I'm gonna texture these at some point but these were fun (read a pain in the ass) to try to make accurate (except the Hammerhead nacelles, those got changed)

Hello:
Thiose are interesting concept, certainly more unique than those we've got from STP. Your version od the USS Summoner is very faithful to the concept  . I see you took some liberties for the USS Hammerhead? I am referring to the aft section as you seem to have given it more "traditional" nacelles?

I did. I didn't like the idea of the 'fins', so I replaced them with a pylon-nacelle arrangement that was pretty close to the position/dimensions of the fins in the original.

Looking good Dvatreknerd

Would you like to try something of mine from my Shipyard like the Entropy class or Arcadian class ?

Maybe. Most of your ships only have one view available which makes modelling it a tad difficult. Do you have additional views of those?

Another D'Anvil design, the Kasumi

(Looking at it now, I might make the nacelles a tiny bit longer)

Decided to update the Kasumi. Nacelles are slightly larger and saucer is slightly flatter:Kasumi V2.png

I decided I wanted to try combining the split-saucer idea I made earlier with a wide saucer...and inadvertantly made a Hammerhead variant in the process:

And for my next trick: The Marsh Maragold (also D'Anvil design):

EDIT: Already tweaked it a bit, looks better now.

Hello:
With all those designs, it looks like you are in the process of making a full post-nemesis Starfleet :) .
