Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.
Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.
We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.
I see you got Maj's memo Kjc about
""For the evil Aussies intent on taking over the world,""
I felt like working on a starship, so here's an afternoons effort reworking Hellkites Resolution so that it only separates into two bits. Still unfinished but a lot closer to his drawing now. The comparison ships are the Seeker and Aads Prometheus, roughly to scale.
EDIT - for those interested in such things, she currently works out at about 3200 polies.
The intent will be to release a low poly version of the model, hopefully ready for A2. If I like what I see then I may uptier it and make a high poly mesh for shapeways, but I've really struggled to make my meshes work. Of course this is all dependent on time...Once this is made, what are you going to do or is this more of a fun thing?
Now the big question is, what to call it? I'm thinking something Andorian (or at least not Human). Any suggestions?
I'm sure I liked this on DeviantArt also. The whitestar was always one of my favorite designs from the show and even for a older model of yours it has held up great.I was bored and RJB inspired me to dig out my Whitestar. So, orthos. Just because I can. And the quality still holds up against my newer meshes despite it being several years old.
