lol. Hellkite, what did I say about complicated designs?
Still, it's very nice. A bow view would be useful though.
Styer, I'd venture that that one isn't as hard as you may initially think. From this angle it looks like its constructed along two planes. The wing, nacelles, and the parrallel side struts are on the lower plane, and the rollbar and central hull section on the upper plane.
The way I'd probably tackle it (and bear in mind I've only thought about this for about three minutes) is to start with the bow, central/upper hull/spine and rollbar as a single piece. Then I'd extrude down and out from the rollbar to create the wings and nacelles. Then lastly I'd extrude out the parrallel side struts and connect them to the forward hull, and the leading edge root extensions to the central spine and the trailing edge extensions connecting the rollbar.
Think to note is that there appears to be a seperation in the wing structure at the back.
Just worry about getting the basic shape right, once you have the hull form you can go back to the detail on the nacelles and rollbar later.
Plan how you'd do it, step by step, before starting, then build in sequence. I may actually have a go at this myself at some point, but earliest opportunity would probably be the weekend and I certainly wouldn't be able to do and end-to-end build like the Talon Hawk (contrary to popular belief I do actually have a life - some of the time anyway). If you want any advice on how to build it don't be afraid to ask. And likewise if you have any questions on the design then Hellkite isn't that scary either.
