Given the events of the Shinzon Coup d'etat and the aparent advament in Cloaking tec now in the hands of a all to unstable Romulan Star Empire, Starfleet came to the over welming need for a new type of ship to combat this new cloaking tec due to this the Peredhil Class came in to being shortly there after

The Peredhil Class simply put a Heavy Tactical Destroyer designed to hunt down cloaked ships and take them out
Equiped with the Forsite System "Starfleets new Multispectrum subspace based detection system" that can pinpoint a cloaked ships out in real time this allows the Peredhil Class to take them out with deadly force if need be

I named this class in the honor of Peredhil "Elrond"
and it's design concept is based losely off a design concept that Syf came up with

What Im thinking of her as Heavy destroyer designed to hunt down cloaked ships and take them out "kinda like sub hunting destroyers we had in ww2 "

That's the size of the Defiant class (180m). I would personally have her at least 225m it's the size of the Nova. But that's just me, I have just recently been looking into ship sizes when I was working with the recently released Incursion class.

Those designs of ships are very interesting, a total winner if they are made into 3d as well . I specially like the Peredhil Class.

I also like the idea of your super carrier, since Star Trek might be one of the very few Sci-Fi series with no big use of Fighters.

All of these have a very distinctive style which reminds of Mimbari ships from Babylon 5.
