I've got a minelayer design as well, that I could never get realized to the degree that I wanted. I think there's a thread about it somewhere kicking around on here. I'll try and find the old notebook pages I drew it on. Not nearly as good looking as yours.

I planned for it to be a SFC3 ship, with six antimatter mine bays.

With those specifications and size, it could easily be a science ship and a scout... a science scout

Yep think of it as the smallest size ship that can handle a full Slipstream drive
well suited for the Scout / an courier roll
