In the center or the top strut, is that a weapons pod (like the Miranda) or a sensor suite? Or possible interchangeable as mission dictates? Anyways, I really like this design.

It was about time to make the Federation be again part of the faster races in the multiverse, I mean, compared with Stargate, Star Wars (although that is fantasy in a futuristic setting and no true sci-fi), Star Trek's warp has always been kinda in the slower side by comparison, heh.
