Rifleman owns, I lol'd at the last part. JJPrise NOT included :lol2:

Here is a pretty interesting one, this is the opening cinematic for a HL2 mod, called Temporal Cold War. They even got a voice actor for Archer!

Fantastic Jet, did they ever end up finishing the mod, I thought it was cancelled? I have HL2 and Episode 1 and if they have finished and released it I would certainly give it a go.

I'm not entirely sure, I kinda lost track with their developments and updates. I think their last media update was last year.

A shame if they'd let this go, I've seen their promo and game play screens and they've really put much effort into recreating the ENT sets, props, characters, etc.

That's not bad, and it's one big ship going by the windows.

Yeah it would be a huge shame if they don't finish it.

Yeah, its a pretty huge ship. Mark Kingsnorth is pretty great with 2D art. Heres another couple shots of the ship(sorry to be a little off topic, but I thought it would be nice to share.)

Time for a thread update guys, I've found a couple more recent CGI vids. Sit back and enjoy.

Here is another recent work from Chris, Saucer Separation and Crash. It cuts a bit short though. :p

From Dennis Bailey himself, here is a conjectural intro for the cancelled 70's Trek series, "Phase II"

Hello:
Those are nice videos, I specially liked the Phase-II intro and the Star Trek III Spacedock docking sequence:)
The battle sequence was very interesting as well.

Hello:
These videos are indeed great, but what I did not see before (me bad) was the intro for the Temporal Cold War, it was simply great, specially for Archer's voice been made by the actor himself... the number of projects with that kind of help is minimum.

Any further word on Red Squad?

I believe their still being worked on, their accounts still have updates from time to time.

Yeah, but the voice wasn't by Bakula, it was dubbed by a sound-alike.

Hello:
So the voice was not the actor himself? wow, the technology sure allows people to emulate everything to a great degree. Nevertheless, it was good video to hear and to see.

Here are more clips of CGI goodness. These shots are taken from the parody film called "Star Wreck - In the Pirkinning". It had this overblown and utterly ridiculous crossover between a twisted version of Trek and an incompetent version of Babylon 5.

Note that the clips have been edited for viewing the battle only. Certain parts can only be explained by the story. Like why the feds don't have any shields and where are the Shadows?

Now this was all made for fun mind you, a senseless crossover battle never hurt anyone. Besides, the quality of the CGI is so amazing that it puts the original material to shame.

:Y That is amazing. They managed to capture the feel of startrek with every ship, movements, weapons, ect. and yet have a full combat environment which we rarely see (in that scale) in startrek. one or two of the explosions were not so impressive, but EVERYTHING else was amazing.

+1 for you Capt.*salutes*

They even redid a couple shots from Nemesis but with a new twist on them...the shot in Nemesis where the Scimitar cuts the one Norexan's wing off and it hits the Enterprise...in this video, the Enterprise Quantum torpedos rip the wing off and part of it strikes the Enterprise hull....i can watch this over and over..its so good

The asteroid chase is a bit Star Warsy, but alltogether the video is cool. But if any of the Romulan captains survived this battle, I'm sure they will be executed at home.

Attacking two Akiras and the Defiant? Taking a big ship like a Norexan into an asteroid belt?! These captains were clearly idiots
Too bad the Akiras didn't fire quantums :D
