I believe they will actually judge all entrants, just the top 25 will get more attention since they are fan favorites. Otherwise I would be out of the running, entering so late.

Although it's unlikely the Enterprise-F will ever be seen in anything other than random books or future games, it's still interesting to wonder what the next ship will be like. The Enterprise-E has been around for like 15 years or so so we're long overdue for something new. All I know of the future of Trek is that there is supposedly only going to be one more movie to the new crew's timeline. That is, so far. After that, who knows? Maybe a new Enterprise could make its way into a series or movie. While I think that's doubtful, I'd still like to believe that it's possible.

Just tried to vote (sorry, been busy last few days and haven't been ), and the site claims that voting is closed. HK, you seem to be in number 16 (after a rather bad drawing and a couple of really hideous designs). I actually quite like the current top scorer and the number two slot - even if no. two looks like a stretched AR Enterprise.

They got "geekfan-disease". A typical disease of people who love Star Trek but they have not enough fantasy to add something original to it. So they take the original models, add wings, extra narcelles, huge turrets etc. to them and they say "It's my totally new starship. It's stronger than anything you knew before and it can kill a borg cube in a few seconds".

That's right. They finally announced and revealed the next Enterprise. Thankfully, it was not one of the "unoriginal" designs. Nor was it one of the overly gaudy (in my opinion anyways) designs.
