• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

    Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

    We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

it probably doesn't have a build button or wireframe. you might have to make that yourself.

(I'll do it for you if you really need it)

you know what, I just checked and it does have a button. add under

@reference=64
@tmaterial=interface

the lines

b_fcloud gbfcloud 0 0 64 64

It has no wireframe though. I"ll see if I can't make you a picture frame.:thumbsup:

//Edit:

ok, add these lines somewhere

@reference=64
@tmaterial=interface
fcloudw5 WFfcloud 0 0 64 64

and put the attached texture in the textures/rgb folder :thumbsup: Let me know if it works out.

Whoops I forgot about that. Thanks for the save Adm_Z. :thumbsup:

I am actually considering since I did this model to do another Nebula Variant using Aad Moerman's Nebula class, the Tetyron class.

Just googled it. That would be awesome:yum:

Somebody should get permission to do this with the new FO nebula:angel: Though with any luck, the FO team will do it themselves. :sweat:

Time remove the following from the odf file:

Code:
//**********************************************************************
// Revised to A2PPX Parameters 12/23/08
physicsFile = "A2PPspecialphys.odf"
rangeScan = 800.0f
avoidanceClass = 4

//**********************************************************************

Or install Thunderfoot's Physics Project, it's in the downloads section. I use his awesome mod in every mod I do. :)

Yeah I was thinking of doing it as it would be a small project like the Cloud and give just another Nebula option for players.

I don't particularly like the FO models, they are too high poly and cause lag for me sometimes. FO is after all based off the original A2 so has most of the same restrictions. I love high poly too, but in a game running off the old Storm3D Engine (not the updated version Legacy uses) one must be realistic.

I tested it and I am very happy with the work! Thank you all who were involved for making my ship a reality. I only have one more small thing. What do I need to add/remove/change in order to make the ship attack planets?

Glad you like it man, if you want the Cloud Class to attack planets, add this line in the odf.

canAttackPlanets = 1

I know I am putting my two cents in late but, I think I would have had the pod come off of the saucer under the third nacelle.
