• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

    Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

    We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

Hey all,

This is the new thread and poll for the long standing which modification you are looking forward to the most idea.

It's not a competition, it allows the members of MSFC to discuss and state which Project they are looking forward to the most. I personally can't choose as there are so many brilliant projects being produced at the moment.

I'm torn between Clone Assault and Halo Fleet Command. Both look outstanding and I really don't know which one to choose. :lol:

I finally voted, Halo Fleet Command is my choice, I love the Halo Universe and the quality coming out is just breath taking. :)

I must admit it was a hard choice and at the end it was down to Clone Assault and Halo Fleet Command.

Although - Ive been noseying around and Im impressed by the thinking behind Seaquest Armada - Seaquest DSV was one of my favourite shows as a kid:)

Definately a download once its done...

Excluding Zero Hour (for obvious reasons), my choice was out of Clone Assault and Yesteryears. Ultimately, I voted for Clone Assault.

Clone Assault, I'm hoping will be the much anticipated Star Wars project that we've all been waiting for since that real old one on A2Files (I forget the name of it), Imperial Assault or something... maybe not?! Anyway, we've got a lot of Trek projects on the go, and I'm a fan of Star Wars too (not so much as Trek, but am still a fan).

I'm more into TNG-based Trek projects that I am TMP, and whilst YY looks brilliant, and a lot has been done, it ain't TNG, and (as mentioned above), we're in need of another SW project. In addition, I believe I voted for YY in the last poll, so it ain't really that I left it out. ;) I still await its arrival with great anticipation.

As for the others, not being funny, but I have no output on them. Seaquest wouldn't work for me (no longer have a copy of A1), and I've never watched (properly) the Andromeda series, nor have I ever played Halo.

With all the awesome projects hosted here we can only choose one, if I had my way I would choose them all, but then it really wouldn't be worth putting the poll up.

No hard feelings we all want to see all the projects and be able to have like 6 versions of the game on our Harddrive running a copy of each of the games.

This thread/poll just gives everyone a chance to voice their opinions and what they are liking best about the project they have chosen. :thumbsup:

I have to admit, I await them all.

As for my involvement, I shall soon see if I can devote more time to my efforts involving YY and other projects. Things have been a little hard for me currently, but soon, I will be freed back up.

I figured I probably shouldn't vote for Halo, so I picked SeaQuest. I remember watching the show when I was younger, and I remember it being pretty good. Besides, an underwater mod hasn't been done before. You could have all sorts of fun with that!

I voted for AndrArmada. The ships designs from the serie are very cool and I'd like to be able to play them ingame:cool:.
Well, the truth is that I'd like to see all mods been released, but my vote went to the Andromeda Project

looking forward to see them all released (might give me a reson to have a proper version of armada1/2installed instead of just fo installs lol
