Firstly, a note - these ships are quite high-poly; The Kelvin is 1954 polies (the observant among you will notice that this is less than the count on Filefront. This is because I forgot to delete the duplicate) with most of them being in the nacelle and saucer -the two parts that are universal.

Now then, this is the Kelvin from the new film (I'll not say anything else as it could potentially spoil anyones viewing) with a few kitbashes. The bashes are temporary - once the Kelvin is textured then I'll redo them. They're just so I can get an idea of what I want :)

Anyways - there be pictures here!

Firstly, the Kelvin herself...

Then some sort of Miranda derivative...

And a Saladin...

An apparently canon ship (something with three engines can be seen) named Farragut...

And finally an Akula...

Comments are welcome :)

Thanks everyone. She's done...

Texturing is not my forte - as you can clearly see. I need to group and bake the textures still; so I'll probably do the kitbashes tomorrow....

Or maybe later - I get bored quite easily

Must say, am loving the Miranda-type. Looks very good. Not so sure about that Farragut though, I was under the impression the 'third nacelle' was in fact, a hull-area, much alike the main hull of the Constitution, and upper hull of the Kelvin. I could however, be wrong.

Very nice :D

i think the Kelvin was my favorite ship in the Movie.

Too bad she goes and gets blown up. although for a ship of its role. it held up very well in combat.

From what I have seen on the websites and heard from fans, it seems the Kelvin made a bigger impression than the Enterprise.

Superb models mate, haven't really been a fan of the jj-prise but I like they way your models turned out, and your texturing job beats anything I could do. :D

Well I was a little indecisive over this, but in the end thought that as a surprise it wouldn't be that good of one. So I'm going to show the two MSFC exclusive ships now...

Rest assured however - there will still be an exclusive surprise. Not in this pack however. Not saying anything else :zipped
