• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

I thought this might be an interesting thread, using the attachments (so we don't get broken image links from external hosts) upload your funniest photos you have even taken or found yourself on the web of where you think the fans of Star Trek have taken it too far.

I'll start with an image I found by accident while looking up fan TOS designs. A modern day car painted like a shuttlecraft.

They could have at least chosen a decent car.

Ah well, I'll wait for the Lotus Elise in Peregrine Fighter guise.

Been googling.

Well, the type 7 shuttle always did look like a beached whale, so sort of makes sense to paint a car that looks (And drives) like one in its paintjob.

Or, if you want a real Star Trek related car, why not go for Patrick Stewards old XJS?

I remember, that you can also download LCARS styles for Firefox and the like.

As for the image above: I know it is not trek, but hopefully there's a Raptor or an SA-32 Thunderbolt, too

I did once see a man on TV that did his whole appartment up like the brig from TNG. Kind of weird in two ways. Why would you do that, and why the Brig of all things? Do you want to live in a (hi-tech) Prison?

There was a guy at my uni who wore a Starfleet DS9/Voy Ensigns tunic around campus. Then again, uni people do weird things. I myself was wearing cavalry boots and a long flying coat with leather gauntlets, so could hardly comment.

My math teacher fro, grade 7 was totally into all things Trek, TNG mostly...

about the boots: I wear security/combat boots everyday, too. I just cannot stand Adidas or Nike boots. I cannot walk in those...
