• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

This episode is like Love and Monsters from the parent Doctor Who series only I like Random Shoes better.
This episode feels like an episode of Ghost Whisperer and a very good one at that.
The ending to this episode is beautiful.

Rewatched it on Australian TV:
Having relegated Torchwood to Wednesday midnight, it seems that 10 felt the need to rub in this decision as they showed during an ad break, the upcoming new series Californication which is coming on Mondays 9:30pm (or about that time), Torchwood's former slot.
The DVD that Eugene borrowed and watched by Owen at Torchwood was A For Andromeda which recently became available at the ABC Shop as part of The Andromeda Anthology release.

For eagled eye viewers: Even though Eugene was a ghost at no time do we ever see ghost Eugene go through corporeal objects until he saved Gwen's life at the end. This fact was pointed out in the corresponding Torchwood Declassified episode.

34 pounds was mentioned twice - that was the price Josh charged Gwen for the overdued DVDs and also the price that Gary and Josh was willing to pay Eugene for the eye.

Did not noticed it before until I heard the DVD commentary for the episode.

A possible explanation within the episode's storyline was that Josh was thinking about the last time he saw Eugene when Josh met Gwen and the 34 pounds may not have anything to do with how long Eugene had the DVDs.
