• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

It was my understanding that in later years there was an Imperial academy created, and normal humans could join the Imperial ranks.

And I checked the Wiki : "The Stormtrooper Corps swell in size after Palpatine allows the addition of recruits and conscripts alongside the clones, though the replacement of clones by natural beings lowered the effectiveness of the Empire's famed soldiers."

I think I read somewhere that the clone trooper visors were just for show and the interior of the helmet had a wrap-around screen. That the empire wouldn't have brought that to the storm trooper helmets is bizarre, though. I personally think it's funny that in A New Hope, when they were infiltrating the Death Star, Luke commented that he couldn't see anything with the helmet on.

Based on what I know about the clones there was a problem with growing the clones fast that made them go insane. Add to that the facilities on Kamino where destroyed when the Cloners rebelled in 19BBY. Using normal humans was the only way the Empire could keep up the numbers they needed

Interesting......maybe something only the clones could use with their enhanced abilities? In later years with not many,( if any} clones left, they would just do away with it. Lol, I dunno, now I feel like I'm starting to make excuses for Lucas:silence:
