• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

If you guys like looking at the planets, you may want to look at Jupiter this week. It's as close to us as its going to get for over a hundred years. Anything with like 20 power zoom and 50 mm objective will allow you to easily see Jupiter's four big moons. But lower power binoculars will still work. Happy observing.

You would have been right last year, but I just sold that piece of property. It was too far away for me to manage properly, and we just were not getting a good return on the investment. One year 100+ tons and the next year if it didn't rain you would get maybe 10 tons.

Finally had clear skies tonight. So I got to take a look at Jupiter. Only three moons visible tonight. The fourth is either behind or inline with the planet.

Also took a look at Saturn. Love seeing the rings.

It has been an interesting couple of months.
My schooling has finally reached an end. It was impossible to focus. Now I have nothing to do...
Still trying to save the house. The bank officially owns it now. Loans are a no go for me. I have helped too many people the last ten years and put myself into too much of a hole to get out of. Now my only hope in saving the house is if my uncle that lost the house to begin with is able to make a deal to buy it back or if the bank decides to give the house to a disable veteran.... I am in the process of packing everything slowly and moving it to storage. I will probably be in my Jeep as soon as the bank gets tired of waiting to make a deal. I'm actually okay with that.
I've pretty much run out of reasons to keep anything going. My kids are grown and I am alone. I would never do anything to harm myself, but I don't have the motivation to try to do anything. Anything that relies on other people is doomed to fail. I will still be around in some capacity.

So far as I can tell, the latest launch date for Artemis 1 is this Wednesday at 1:04am EST (6:04am GMT).

Hello:
I agree, it has been delayed a lot for a lot of different reasons, so let's hope the mission will finally go as intended.

Hello:
That is horrible! And don't worry about us because we will all be here for when you get back. I hope your daughter will be fine soon.

I'm sorry to hear that HK. I hope your daughter will be alright. Don't be afraid to be her PAPA BEAR. If it was my kid I would be heading her way at a high rate of speed.
Are you Ok? If you need someone to talk to or just vent to let me know.

That is terrible. :( Take as much time as you need to be there for your family. What a nightmarish event to go through.
