• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

The Other Timelords

For this thread, I have two questions, both relating to the Timelords.

Q1: As we know, there are other universes in the Dr Who Universe, to which are similar to the one we know and love, but, at the same time, are somewhat different.

In that respect, in other Universes, could the Timelords still be at large? Or likewise, could there be a Universe where the Daleks won the Time War, and are indulged in a vast empire?

Q2: The Doctor continually states that he is the sole survivor of his people. Even after he has met The Master in older episodes, he still stages he is the sole surviviour. Regardless of whether The Master is now dead or not, could The Doctor be one of a number of Timelords that are still very much alive?

Well... there is a female timelord living in another universe, with K-9 Mk II from the original series of Doctor Who (as far as original goes, since it was the 4th Doctor...). Although both she and K-9 mk 2 were trapped there at the end of the episode.

There is also, in the current series, a female clone of the Doctor, Jenny, who appeared in the episode "The Doctors Daughter" (obviously, he considers her his daughter). She's not been seen since, however, she has been shown to regenerate (without changing form oddly) and that she had two hearts, just like the Time Lords.

So there are at least 2 more somewhere lol

Ok basic quantum theory states that yes you are right and in one of the infanate universes there should be one were the timelords survived.

and I would agree with you, its probably a safe bet that there are more timelords out there (they can travel in time after all!), so what is to state they were all there when the doctor ended the war (it doesn't make sense does it?)

I read about her on Wiki. If she is now in another universe though, could it be that this other universe now has two of her?

Assuming the Timelords are in that universe too...

I knew of this one. :)

It doesn't make sense, no.

Hopefully, unlike the older series, we'll actually get to see everything, such as The Time War, why the Doctor Survived as he did, etc etc etc
