Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.
Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.
We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.
I decided I should get in on the fun.
Images are attached. Enjoy!
If MY (ex-) English Teacher would see this, she would probably go "stfu i pwnz u". English Lessons Fail...Somewhere out there an English teacher is crying herself to sleep...
"Whatever you do, Don't cross the streams!"
"Why?"
"Because if the streams cross, it will cause a complete implosion of the entire space-time continuum!"
"I take it that's bad?"
"Yes. Very."
"Okay, then. Listen up, people! Ray says that crossing the streams is bad! Don't do it!"
"I think we'd better split up." "Yeah, we can do more damage that way!"
Awesome pic of cat that I found + A2 Screenie =

- From Uncle Thunderfoot's Armada II Dictionary
Pluck (n.) An additional command attribute possessed by captains of Hero Ships, along with ambition and boldness. Allows Hero Ship captains to avoid the unpleasant regular outcome of ambition and boldness. Pluck will also normally lead to disbelief if used too often around ordinary starship captains.
Would you mind if I added some more? Of course not.
Here's a fresh batch of ummmm...lulz. Yeah.
Those are great.
Here are a few pics I did via ICHC. Hope you like them. Prepare to LOL.

Something I did awhiles back.
And now kids, it is time for this week's episode of...
"Uncle Thunder's Armada 2 Definitions!"
*ominous music swells alarmingly*
Each week(or whenever we feel like it) we are going to bring you the A2 definition of ordinary words.
A highly desirable quality for starship captains. Enables them to think about taking chances mere mortals would never consider.
Ambition brought to action. Sometimes foolhardy action. This is also a highly desirable quality in starship captains.
One of the six playable races found in A2. Usually opposes Starfleet. The nerve! How dare they?
The typical aftermath of boldness following ambition. Unless the starship captain has a wingman. See Wingman.
A not very nice ability given to races which oppose Starfleet in A2. Allows them to sneak about like some sort of Interstellar Peeping Tom and spy on people. Starfleet ships have no need to sneak about in such a manner. Because they are the Good Guys.
Principal Borg ship found in A2. Comes in a variety of sizes and styles. Primary target for Starfleet HeroShips. See HeroShip.
Quality exhibited by other starship captains whenever a Heroship captain does something amazingly stupid and gets away with it. May cause a Casualty if exhibited too long. See Casualty.
A ship from a non Star Trek film, tv series, or game placed within A2 and used as a normal ship. Usually has far too many weapons and can cause extreme mental distress to a simon-pure FanBoy. Unless he is the one who made it.
Another highly desirable quality for HeroShip captains. Allows them to place themselves in ridiculous situations while maintaining the thought they will prevail. Usually induced by under informed screenwriters who are not FanBoys.
A vessel in A2 which mounts weapons which are much more powerful, or deadly, or cooler than the weapons Starfleet ships have. No fair! Cheater!
A weapon which is not as powerful as a Primary Weapon. Nor is it as much fun to shoot at the enemy. It gets the job done, but it is usually not emotionally satisfying at all.
a Starfleet vessel.
All non Starfleet vessels in A2. Primary purpose is to provide things for Starfleet vessels to shoot at.
The vessel commanded by a close personal friend of a starship captain. Primary purpose is to die in a spectacular fashion while the starship captain arrives too late to save them. This allows the starship captain to exact revenge right after the commercial break.
Thank you, one and all. I'm glad I could make someone laugh. And now,
"Uncle Thunder's Armada 2 Definitions - Part 2"
A terrain feature found In A2. Intended to prevent a player's ships from going in a certain direction. AI controlled and opponent's ships are not similarly impeded. Asteroid Fields are especially good at snaring player controlled mining ships.
Another A2 terrain feature, these are large clouds of dust and gas which cause various deletorious effects to a player's ships. Also makes a pretty nifty hiding place for AI controlled and opponent's ships to ambush a player's last fleet from.
Most popular ship in A2. All players build as many of these as possible. Because AI controlled and opponent ships swat all other ship classes like flies.
Nickname for Species 8472 race in A2, a rather unpopular race. The Bugs are especially disliked when AI controlled or used by an opponent in an online game.
A number of Non Canon Ships placed into A2 by modders who've spent too much time playing flight simulators and desired the ability to recreate scenes of fighter combat from non Star Trek films and TV series in A2. Sometimes treated with contempt and scorn by overly emotional simon-pure FanBoys. Unless they made the fighter. Then, "It's 'Kewel!'.
Special type pf ship found in A2 which is far more powerful than regular ships. Also much cooler than regular ships. All starship Captains aspire to command a HeroShip someday.
Because some people cannot leave well enough alone, the HeroShip MkII was created. Even more powerful and waay waay cooler than a regular HeroShip. Players possessing one of these during an A2 game have been known to giggle uncontrollably as it approaches an enemy fleet.
Bwah. Hah. Hah. Hah. Hah.
Less well liked than its cousins for unknown reasons, this version of the HeroShip does not have as many afficianados. Curiously, because this is usually the very last of HeroShips made by a modder, the quality of the model and textures is perfect!
Because Mad Doc developers labored under the misguided impression A2 players want a challenging, evenly matched, fair contest, they gave HeroShips to the AI and also made them available to opponents! (GASP! The Horror!) Worse they actually made these capable of defeating player controlled HeroShips in single combat. As a counter to this, players have learned to make and build GodShips. See GodShip.
"Uncle Thunder's Armada 2 Definitions - Part 3"
A very large ship which carries a ridiculous number of weapons and has a maxHealth strength well north of 2,000,000+. Typically, these ships cost 1 unit each of metal and dilithium to build and normally have a buildTime measured in milliseconds. They also usually carry a Special Weapon which is so powerful it causes Armada 2 to crash to desktop followed by a catastrophic HDD failure. This weapon is almost too powerful. GodShip developers normally try to balance the GodShip to the game by not making sprites, game buttons, odfs, and SODs for the Special Weapon.
A small, inoffensive little vessel include by the Mad Doc developers. Intended to be a cost effective way to recon the map. A Scout's real purpose is to serve as portable armor for a player's Battleships by absorbing weapons fire which a sensible AI would apply to the Battleships.
A slightly bigger version of the Scout. Serves the same purpose. However, Destroyers actually have weapons.
An odd vessel which combines the worst features of the Scout and the Destroyer into one handy package. Normally mounts a Special Weapon which makes everyone else's weapons work better. Another unusual feature of this type of ship is the Mad Doc developers went out of their way to make Frigates as unattractive and helpless as possible.
A handy little ship for sending in the Marines. Despite their small size, these ships carry a large crew complement. So all the marines must be very tiny.
'We represent the Lollipop Guild...'
These ships mount a really really big gun. Which fires a really really slow torpedo. Which hurts really really badly if one gets hit with it. However, since it takes about a week to get to the target, there is little need to be concerned.
Special type of Q-Ship(no pun intended) which is more expensive than a Heavy Cruiser, takes longer to build, and has more powerful weapons.
The term 'Light Cruiser' is intended to lull your worthy opponent into a false sense of security.
As with the Light Cruiser, this ship type's name is also intended to be misleading. These large, weak, underpowered vessels support battleships when the battleships are attacking something. They do this by absorbing weapons fire intended for the Battleship. Unlike a Scout or a Destroyer these ships can take two hits before exploding. The one Exception to this in the Stock Game is the Klingon Vor'cha class. A Vor'cha can actually do something by itself other than look good and serve as portable armor.
lets just enjoy it for what it is....a joke
[not done by me lol...as if i could]
If ever, I cant wait for the next batch. Who knows what future entries may hold...^_^
Here's a few of mine:
Newer ones, enjoy:
Every once in a while I get reminded of a movie I've seen hundreds of times and can probably recite from start to finish. This is usually what happens as a result.
Why? Because it needed doing, lol
Queenie, that post up there is by far the biggest post I have ever seen. I think it's sheer, ridiculous length is worthy of a lol.
So we've established that Her Majesty is a LOLpic fan. Well, let's see if she likes these.
One more before I call it a night here. Enjoy!
