• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

    Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

    We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

Hello there guys. I have been working on this project pretty much independently. Basically for starters I am not intending on copying anyone else's ideas. If I am then I would surely like to know.

This is a mod taking the evolutionary advancements of Fleetops code and pairing it with a multi-generational game. Taking you from the Original Series all the way to the POST-TNG era. Each race is intended to have unique features and tech tree composition. While people question about the idea of how to make it balanced but at the same time encouraging progression. I can honestly say that it will be hard.

The main issue to address as of this moment is infact variety. Klingons prior to the TNG era area is not entirely filled. And I'm sure the Romulans have even more gaps to fill. None-the-less, every mod has its challenge. As I am for now simply working with little material. I am open to anyone willing to help.

The current races featured to be playable are:
- Federation
- Klingons
- Romulans

I would like to put the cardassians in noting there are many spoonhead fans out there. I have an abundance of TNG-DS9 designs, however I haven't seen any coverage of them from TMP backward.

You should check out the abundance of models in the downloads section. I"m not sure if you will be able to download them yet, but you might get some idea of what you would want. Majestic recently uploaded a bunch of hid COE cardies here which might fit your style.

Oy vey....I thought this was gonna be about the movie when I saw the thread name....phew....

Back to your big mod plans, eh Excalibur? :) This one sounds rather appealing, although if I may say so, there have been others who have attempted to do this very thing, and let the mod die. Hope the same doesn't happen here.

If I didn't have more projects than I could poke a stick at I would offer, but right now COE and YY are my main concerns and I am even not taking personal requests at the moment till at least I can get COE completed and released.
