• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

    Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

    We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

So, i'm not quite sure where to start a new thread regarding it. so, i'll start it here. If i'm not supposed to... you can delete it. lol

anyway, who the heck else out there, is now completely addicted to this game and can not wait for it's arrival?!?! the creature creator is awesome! i was recently dethroned out of #3 spot of 830,000+ creatures!

i'm totally chompin at the bit for this!

cool, i didn't think to put it here. thanks, crazy. yeah so like this game is literally EPIC. you start off as something like an amoeba. you have to navigate so you don't get eaten, yet eat other things yourself... at points you evolve. then you add on parts like a brain or a limb or a mouth... and it just keeps going. soon, you're a fish, then something that crawls onto land. then you fight for your life there. meanwhile, everything you're fighting or running from has been made by someone else and shared into the game. eventually you develop intelligence and tribes and then a civilization. you build the creatures, the life, the buildings, tanks, weapons...

THEN... you conquer the planet you live on and then create spaceships... THEN you go into space and terraform nearby planets.. OR go to another star system and invade.. OR leave the galaxy and go to a new one. this game has SO many facets and it's insane. it's from the brain of the man that created simcity and all the other sim games... except this is of just EPIC proportions. all the while the game is internet accessed. any shared creature can be seen in it. it'll even tell you whether your race, if you get that far, has been exterminated. honestly it's genius and i can NOT wait for it.

honestly i LOVE civilization, but this really blows that out of the water. go to the website and check it out. these last 4 hours have been spent making creatures. lol it's entirely too addicting!

it's not sid mier, it's Will Wright of Maxis. he created sim city, copter, sim city 2000, the sims...

i honestly think, once you get going it'll take ages to beat.
