Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.
Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.
We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.
Looks good. really good. good enough to make me wonder if my laptop would be able to run the game, and to make me consider buying it.
I hold you both responsible for this turn of events lol, id already decided not to bother because of the ugly ships.
Look forward to more
A Kitbash? But it's a pretty decent ship anyway. All those hull elements point to a TLE era ship.
The Evanescence looks mighty fine against that backdrop SciFiFan, I like ^_^
I think it gives you the stock Centaur if you're Science, stock Miranda if you're Tactical, and stock Shi'kar if you're Engineering. As far as I remember anyway, it's been a while since I've done the tutorial, which is the only time I've had a stock ship...
But yes, I strongly encourage people to give the STO demo a shot, the game has come a long way since it's come out, but it does still have a ways to go before its really great. All MMO's start this way though, WoW was no different, Warhammer Online wasn't, City of Heroes, etc... Give it a shot, tis all I ask.
Star Trek Online
To buy it or just for the monthly sub? Cuz that sounds about right for straight buying it...
Sounds logical. A station is probably easier to perform system upgrades and repairs on as well I would imagine
Ouch, I'd hate to have you as a Captain SciFiFan.
