• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

Greetings one and all. I'm the Barbarian182 and I'm new to games etc...I was just wondering how I might locate a Model maker that would be willingto consider building a ship for me? I have had a great interest in this design for a long time and would Love to get it in game as well as use said ship in the creation of wallpaper still shots for my computer as a wallpaper.

below is the page the design is found on. I hope someone replies, thanks to one and all in advance :)

We have a thread dedicated exactly for this:
When people post on a thread there is the option to monitor it, so if you post there the regulars will get a notification and it's more likely to get a response..
As for this particular design, it's 70% existing TMP Connie. For an experienced modeler it should be relatively straightforward to kitbash a Connie and adding a custom secondary hull. If I had time I'd be willing to look into it, but right now I'm swamped with "real life" issues.
Good luck.

Howdy. Nice to meet you. I will post in the thread you suggested... I lack any real capability to create a ship..I'm lucky I can render shots at all after converting a model to a format I can use! LOL thanks for the advice :) as to the design I seek, I have tried for YEARS to get the type done..and 1 ready for use in game, and 2 in a format I can use to render still shots I use 3ds max 2010. and I'm always surprised the type has not yet been done.

I was thinking...due to the saucer being much like a standard Miranda, do you think simply using a Miranda saucer and perhaps adding a connie secondary hull, and the warp pylons and nacelles of the "Constant" class would work as a reasonable substitute?
