From the Doctor Who Reference Guide:
"This was a special edition of the children's education programme Search Out Science featuring Sylvester McCoy and Sophie Aldred playing their familiar characters to inform young viewers about space travel."
This is included in the Survival DVD. It was originally broadcast on November 21 1990 almost a year after Survival's UK transmission and also saw the return of John Leeson as the voice of K9.
Also featured is an alien Cedric.
This had the Doctor hosting a game show in which the contestants are the viewer, Ace, K9 and Cedric.
Upon viewing it on the Survival DVD this is definitely for kids as the only thing I can describe about it is that it is just plain whacky. Depending on one's point of view the so-called commercial breaks that were included are either very amusing or very cringeworthy. Personally they are a mix of the two.
