Most of you are going to either have no idea what Photoshop is, or wonder whether or not I'm crazy (Well I'll admidt I'm crazy at times so...). But yes, you CAN do 3d renders in Photoshop if the model is in a specific format. So far I've only tested this with .3DS files and it's worked pretty well. If you set up a model to have lights though in your 3d program those lights likely wont translate over to photoshop, but again, I've only tested .3ds files... There also appear to be some possible issues with how textures are applied by the program but I'll leave that to the full article to explain...
