• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

Speaking of the EU. After a recent KOTOR binge I've decided to finally dive into the old books and start reading some of the stories that people keep referencing. Suggestions are highly welcome, though probably best in a different thread as this one should be for Chile's art ;)

My suggestions for after Endor are:
Courtship of Princess Leia
Thrawn Trilogy (starts with Heir to the Empire)
Thrawn Duology (Spectre of the past and Visions of the Future)
Outbound Flight as a prequel to the Thrawn Trilogy and Duology
Choices of One (A Mara Jade prequel to Thrawn Trilogy)
Hands of Judgement (which is a prequel to Choices of One).

If to read in order:
Courtship of Princess Leia - Outbound Flight - Thrawn Trilogy - Thrawn Duology - then go back to - Hand of Judgement - Choices of One.

There are of course plenty more but I'll see if others recommend them.

All good choices. I'd suggest the X-Wing series. An old friend back in high school read them, and they seemed great.
I second this suggestion. I'm going back through them right now.

Most of my suggestions have already been taken, but I'll toss I, Jedi onto the pile as well.

As a note, the new unabridged audiobooks for many of the Star Wars Legends Essentials Collection are phenomenal. Especially those done by Marc Thompson.

Thank you for all the recommendations, folks! :) I ended up getting the Thrawn trilogy for May the Fourth, and I'll pick up the other books you recommended as I go. Really looking forward to exploring the old EU.

The TT, is probably some of the best of the EU. Such great characters and character development in that.
