• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

I first saw Moonlight when it began showing here in Australia a year and a half ago but it stopped showing at episode 8. Sometime ago I bought DVD , saw the first eight episodes again and most recently got to see the first episode I have not seen before with episode 9 Fleur de Lis.

Fleur de Lis:
Episode 9.
Instead of Mick, Beth narrates this episode as she investigates whether Morgan is actually Coraline. Meanwhile Mick and Morgan collaborate together on a case that Mick is given investigating whether the wife of a rich man is having an affair.
The case is very good with quite a surprise that come with it and also quite good looking at Beth's investigation of Morgan leading to the climax at the end.

The Mortal Cure:
Episode 12.
Moonlight had originally been given a 12 episode order before it was given four additional episodes.
This is too bad as The Mortal Cure would have been a fine final episode
with Mick becoming human.
Surprising that Lance turned out to be Coraline's brother.

To Australian viewers:
Moonlight will be on 9's youth channel Go! from Thursday August 13 10:30pm.

Fated to Pretend:
Episode 13.
What a shock that Maureen was killed and coming not long after the death of Josh.
However this has led to a pretty good mystery.
Nice to see Victoria Pratt in this episode.
Also in the guest cast is Eric Winter. Eric Winter had been in the US version of Blackpool, Viva Laughlin playing the character originally played by David Tennant in the original British version and Tennant had appeared with Sophia Myles in Doctor Who: Girl In The Fireplace.
So Sophia got to appeared alongside two people who had played the same character in something completely unrelated.

Click:
Episode 14.
Mick's latest client is a movie star who apparently committed but Mick thinks otherwise.
A good mystery about the circumstances about the movie star's death.
Amusing Mick calling two vampire paparazzies 'bloodsuckers' as that is true in more ways than one.
Even though Dean was a terrible person, it is a bit disturbing Beth asking Josef to deal with him knowing full well what his methods are.
The new boss at Buzz Wire is just simply shocking.

Sonata:
Series finale.
This episode featured a vampire couple Jackson and Emma who has been married for 150 years with Beth remarking that this leads to a new meaning of "Death till us part". Tragically this foreshadows the couple's doom at the end of the episode. Their doom could have been prevented if it were not for Emma's stupidity.
The extraction of Emma from her prison van was done well.
A sombre end to the series but unfortunately things are left open ended with the beginning of a new mystery towards the end.

The DVD release has no special features, the best it could come up with is the option to watch an episode with or without the recap at the beginning which hardly makes a difference in viewing an episode.
