• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

    Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

    We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

Teal'C vs. Ronan Dex... I not long finished watching this episode, and I can't fault it one bit. I wont go spoiling it for those that haven't watched it yet, but there is an annoying guy on there, an idiot, a bunch of Wraith (yes, they all die), and a nice big explosion near the end.

All good stuff I must say. Anyone else watched it yet?

I was able to watch the first half before I went to work. But I missed the second half. I have not been able to find the episode anywhere to view it.

whhaatt!? its out, i thought this weeks was Trio?

Or are you all in america and u all see them on friday? if so i have a few questions to ask my "sources" on tthe internet as to why it hasnt appeared yet!! :O

Just saw Midway. and basically, best ep ive seen this season! Mainly just because of this

I am from England, UK.

I watch Atlantis online, as it is only shown on TV if you have Sky.. Which we have, but it is down stairs, and I usually watch TV in my room, or via the Internet. I think Stargate is on Friday Nights in the US, so come Saturday or Sunday, it is usually avaliable to watch online.

yeah, that bit was great, tbh i think it was about time they put the two characters together.

But, somehow they did something strange. they put the characters from the original series and a spin off, and it didnt suck! I dont think in my tv watching career i have ever seen that! Except for maybe TNG's Relic (the one with scotty in)

Also, i watch them online as well, i was juts tryign to be criptic as i wasnt sure of the rules.

But yeah, i knew they used to air on fridays in america, but lately id only been seeing sky one rips. but then saying that, had only been looking on wednesday mornings, as i rarely found anythign on saturdays.

Finally got to see all of it. I think the reason characters get along so well. Is while they are 2 different shows. They are very much the same. Almost like when TNG and DS9 coexisted.

Loved it, but at the same time slightly disappointed...

For one I think while Ronin may be as skilled/trained as he is, Teal'c is over 100, and I think could kick Ronin's rear, certainly not that thing that dragged on for an hour...

And I was also very disappointed with the ease of which the wraith tapped into the marco McKay wrote, sure, he's not an ancient, but when he's cracking stuff it takes forever, when they do it it's not?

Finally, they blew up Midway! *cries*

Just means it wil be rebuilt with a way to prevent entry throught the gate like the SGC or Atlantis.

They cracked the macro, meh to me it seemed more that they discovered what it was and activated it (which is why they had to wait for it to be activated to discover the macro being run by the dhd)

and the fight, well i see it as even, Teal'c is a jaffa, yes he has like a hundred years more experience than ronon, but ronon had to fight everyday of his life while he was a runner. Not to mention the training he had in the military. That fight justconfirmed that he is atlantises answer to teal'c. and i would like to see who would win.

ah ye, i did wonder that myself. (tbh when u first read ur post i was thinking of Teal'c or Ronon in a tux... and i wondered when that happened!)

That is just one of those Drama moments, they are slightly annoying i guess.

I've been on holiday so i havnt seen it yet, recorded it though. From what i have heard it sounds like a good episode i look forward to watching it.

I've a Solution

He managed to get to the area where the suits are, and as the suits would have had Oxygen in them, decided to breath in a little, then jumped into the suit to hide from any Wraith that were lurking about..?

it hink the how was relating more to the fact that normally it takes 2 people to help someone into one of those suits (we've seen it before) yet he managed to do it after u see im "collapsing" on the floor due to lack of oxygen.
