[WIP] Midway Ship Plaques

Here is a WIP of the Plaque on the Midway bridge. I am considering re-doing the logo up top.

I felt that all the text on the plaque wasn't necessary, I got the idea from Kaden from DeviantART. I also thought it was a nice touch to add the original Captains name on the plaque. In peacetimes, additional Commanding Officers named are added to the plaque as the ship progresses through it's service life.

I am still unsure whether I will be keep it as is, or changing it in regards to the text. I plan on doing the plaques for all major ships that appear in the series.

I just wanted to try something a little different, it's a WIP that I wanted to show you all. I am unsure if I am going to keep the new one or not yet.

I do what your page, and you have some awesome plaques. I especially love the Hellfire one and those new logos you have on some. Would it be possible to grab PSD versions of these new logos and the Hellfire template, it would really help in making the Midway's parallel universe plaques.

The Hellfire one I can't give you access to since the logo design isn't mine, but the other ones, save the Endurance, are all part of the plaque template that Fury of a Seraph has in his dA gallery.

I'm only interested in the colour layout of the Hellfire one, not the logo. It's a shame, I'll have to look into making one similar myself.

Oh by the way I love your Star Wars template you posted on DA, very nicely done.

Ahh, I just darkened/changed some colors on the templates, ctrl-u is your friend.

I'll have to look into that, when I decide to make some non-Federation Prime plaques.

I have also recently updated the plaque, changing the logo so it fits the plaque better, as well as the quote down the bottom. Shakespeare is too common on Star Trek plaques, so I found one by Orison Swett Marden, which still fits in with what my aim is in the story.
