• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

    Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

    We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

Well sort of. I started this morning with the character I had in the trial ages back :). I'm commander rank now (tactical/escort).

I'm liking it so far. It feels more Trek than I thought it would. There's more combat than the average season of TOS or TNG, but it doesn't seem forced at all. The exploration missions are a grind, no doubt about it, but it doesn't feel like a grind - at least, not at the moment. Ask me in a month or so.

I remember reading about the possibility of an MSFC fleet being formed, and a few of the threads here suggest that it happened. Room for one more? :angel:

Handle is the same as account name, right? I did a quick search, but my Google-fu is weak today and didn't get a concrete answer.

No your handle is your online identify not your account log-in. A quick way to do it is to type in the chat window and then copy everything after the @ icon. So for example mine is majesticmsfc but I log in with a different name.

Actually you don't need to add a character name to add a player to your friend's list, you only need a character name to add them to a fleet if I recall correctly on that last part.

Anyone is welcome to add me, in fact I now have Darklight on my list and along with Kat and another friend that I met through this name, the four of us Aussies had quite a bit of fun last night playing our KDF characters. :lol:
