• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

Months in the hospital
cat woman gets to the head
If you dispute something throws during a marriage, you should keep an eye on the flight path already. This experience makes an Argentinian who chooses but also a bit unusual projectile.

A heated verbal battle in Argentina had dramatic consequences for an innocent passerby. In Buenos Aires wanted to media reports that an angry spouse throw a cat at his wife's head.

However, he missed his target and the cat flew out the window on the fourth floor. The animal landed on the head of a 85-year-old passerby. The woman suffered a fractured skull and was in a coma for a long time.

The incident occurred in July, but was only now, told the news agency DyN. The victim lay still in the hospital, it said. About the health of the cat there was no information.

Why are articles like this always missing details such as "how's the cat doing" and "did the cat land feet first.."

The same in Australia, poor cat too, how dare he throw a cat, he could be charged with attempted murder of the poor cat, he could here in Australia. Poor old lady too, in the wrong place at the wrong time.

It's possible that, during the argument, she started complaining about the apartment, making a comment about the size of it...

"You couldn't swing a cat in this so-called living room!"
"Oh yeah?! Well..."
"MIAOW!!!"

Shouldn't joke about such things, but that was too easy.

It's a terrible thing to do, and as a cat person I'm appalled by it. Then again, another worrying point is that more people would be thinking "I hope the cat was ok." than "I hope the old lady will be ok".

Well, at least we know that in a time of great crisis, kitties can be used as effective weapons. :p

...
And now I'm picturing cats in combat gear parachuting out of planes.

I hope its obvious for everyone that the welfare of the old lady is more important than the welfare of the cat, but the reason why people asked about the welfare of the cat is that the condition of the old lady was described while the condition of the cat was/is unknown.

Following this incident perhaps we should start a proposal for the Argentinian government to equip all cats living about the 1st floor with miniature parachutes (or all old ladies with helmets).

Double post since i cannot find an edit button:

Hang on, let me post this so I can find the edit button...

EDIT: There we go. At the bottom of the post, next to the quote buttons, is the edit button. It goes away after a while though.

You'll have to explain that one..

Never seen lolspeak? It's essentially an english slang that became famous through the cat macros or lolcats, but is derived from the chanspeak. It consists of common typing misspellings (liek for like, teh for the), writing words phonetic and really bad grammar. It's used because many people imagine it's how a cat (who didn't learn to write in English) would write on the Internet.

I know where to look, but some posts i can edit and some i cannot.
Dunno if it has to do with post count, join date at forum etc but that's the way it is..

Edit: or age of post..

The edit function allows a member to go back and edit a post if they made a mistake or forgot something, half an hour as Cabal stated is the time limit after that you're free to double post, you won't get in trouble for that if your edit time has expired.

Reminds me of: "Police fired over the heads of rioters today. None of the rioters had been killed or injured, but several people died on the first floor." (Carlin)

Shouldn't joke about such things, but that was too easy.

Why not? These things are hilarious - by my demented standards.

I hope the Lady is okay. Must have been a heavy cat or the woman slipped and fell due to being hit. I cannot really imagine, that a cat would crush a skull of a human being even when thrown from the 4th floor.
