• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

How did you find MSFC?

I always knew about Majestic's site/s as he told me all about them and kept me informed about changes he was making. He gave me the URL, I visited, liked what I saw and joined!

I found Majestic's site...the moment it opened. When was that? Must have been, oh, late June 2005, around the time the AFC RPG was beginning to have it's death gasps. It was known as Majestic's Downloads until early the next year (2006). Shortly after that, I put up a free site on an invision board (LoL) and that was on July 6, 2005. A teamspeak server went up on August 8, 2005. Then Majestic's site moved from 1-2-Free forums to Forumup, and remained there for a good while. Then in December 2005 to January 2006 (around the time I made the decision to expand my server business), Majestic's site finally got its own domain (thanks for paying all that money for all this by the way) and it became Majestic Sci-Fi Central.

To make a long story short, that's all found in the History thread, of course, but just to mention that I've been here for the whole time. Some faces have come and gone since then, one recently who I felt bad for since she couldn't be here anymore. However, we will soon see a new face around here as I'm getting Amy here. She's sort of shy with new communities, she sure was when I brought her in on the server thing sometime before we were married.

So yep, we have a new ship for the fleet, um, I mean, we have a new member for the, um, community. LoL. :D

I've been here from the beginning and will be here till the end. My word shall remain true. Good luck with all the enhancements that are being made. I know one thing is for sure, php coding is a neck-breaker, but then sql is even worse cause I have no idea what all that's about LoL. And I took a course on it, got a C in that. And I'm rambling once more.

Salute!

Oh, it was a long road to get here. Long story short. The person that got me into these forums was a friend called CaptSYF. But as far as the current version. Hellkite asked me online when I was going to reregister. My response was    .....He then informed me of the change. And now I am here.

There you go, a brief history of Linkage . . .

Hey, Harrie, seems you and I had similiar reactions . . . first I went :Y then I went a step further . . . when I thought I was gonna be gone . . . permanently . . . :cry2: But, once more the site rises for the flames of the previous incarnation, to a newer, hotter version!!! :D

I too will be here until the day it slips into the abyss of darkness.

Majestic and I were team members of the "Federations Microverse" Mods when he founded MD, then it transformed into MSFC.

I found MSFC when it was MD, it was in a little corner of my head.

That was back in 2000 originally, but forum wise it was 2005.

Hellkite. One word. Short, quick, to the point.
He found me pottering around on another forum, and invited. Been here ever since . . . Danke, mein Colonel! (apologies for minor use of German, but it best describes the mood/tone of the statement . . . :) )

You wrapped a rope around my neck and dragged me here. :p

On the serious note, I believe I joined after hitting a link from a banner you had over at gamingforums.

I found it through Fedhog Files, when Majestic was showing off all his graphics and stuff. Then he posted an ad for crossovers, which led me here. :D That was in mid/late '07
