• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

    Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

    We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

I'm Evenstar. Some people know me, some people don't. I'm into Literature, History, swimming. I'm not into very many new games. When I was younger, I played a lot of Nintendo, like Super Mario Brothers 1, 2, and 3 and then Super Mario World. My sister's hubby got me into games like Castlevania recently. I like literature, in particular CS Lewis and JRR Tolkien. I got my older sister into that stuff years ago and then she really got into that and got her hubby into it and then he started playing a Middle Earth real time strategy game based on the moves called The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle Earth. Then he got my sister into that and then she got me into it. So just so we're clear on how that insane process happened, here's a flowchart, well sort of.

Lord of the Rings books -- Me ---> My sister ---> her hubby.
Lord of the Rings game -- my sister's hubby ---> My sister ---> me.

So to keep that sort of cycle going I got my sister into CS Lewis literature next and maybe, just maybe, there will be some games based on that in the future too. (CS Lewis was the creator of The Chronicles of Narnia if you're lost)

I'm going into my senior year of college this fall. Just finished up a summer session to pick up some extra credits (9 credits in 3 classes to be exact). Then I have to transfer what I have to another university.

I completed my literature major already, and still have yet to complete my elementary education and history majors. That's 3 majors. I'm working on a minor in psychology as well. But I'm planning on probably 3 more years of school. I want to eventually teach in a college environment as I have really gotten a kick out of training for teaching by teaching college students about general history and geography. It's both funny and sad how very few college students even know where Brtiish Columbia is located on the world map.

Welcome, Evenstar! You weren't around the community before all the big changes were made to all the sites all around, so this may seem like a standard site at first but it ain't. You can post messages in peoples' profiles (which is just killer awesome) and you can post images in your own gallery and have them show up on your profile. It's really fantastic!

It is funny though, South Africa, is in the south of Africa, but some people point to like, Madagascar instead. It is funny and I see what you mean by sad at the same time. When they're asked where Madagascar is, they point to China and when asked where China is, they point to Australia or something. I've seen that before. I want whatever it is those people are taking.:lol:

Thanks for the loud welcome ya'll! Time to start putting gallery images in if I can find any. It might just be screen shots from the Battle for Middle Earth games, at first. Yes, EA Games made those games but we can't let that deter us. :clap:

Sorry, it's been 7 years since I've been here. I did know you though. Hehe.

I wanted to come back here to see if there was something I could post about. So if I find anything I will be posting. If I don't, I won't be posting for the moment, but no worries. I'll probably be around here a lot more often than I was. Then again, I had only logged on once before so.... yeah. Sorry!
