• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

    Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

    We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

Hello,
I've a life long star trek fan. I was modding before armada was even made aka pencil and paper. Ya I draw starships right down to the cross sections. So when a friend gave my his copy of armada 2 I never looked back. It only took a month for my to start modding it. Long story short I've replaced almost every ship and half the stations with new ones or remodeled ones. Messed with just about every file to some extent. I tried making my own ships but they where really poor, guess I'm better with pen and paper. No worries there was lots of new and beautiful ships to download. I was having a blast and then filefront closed down. With no new content I slow ran out of things to add to the game and my interest waned. Oh I'd still play a game or two every now and then, but I missed modding if new content. Was looking around for a new modding site and stumbled on to yours.
Looked around the site for five minutes and I cant wait until I can start downloading. Already got 12 or 24 new ships I want in my mod. So going to need a new yard for the Fed!
Anyway really glad to see people still making and posted new content. Ok I'm going to go now and drool over all the cool ships out there!

Welcome to the site! You'll find plenty of people here who are willing to talk shop regarding Armada modding. Feel free to chat about other stuff, too; we're sort of a general hangout on top of the modding.

As CABAL said, there are still a few people actively modding A2 here, but we also just hang out and talk about stuff that interests us, and some of us do multiplayer games together.

If you have any problems or questions, the people with the colored usernames are site staff and will be able to help you.

Thanks for the warm welcome. Not sure where to post this so I'll put it here. Thanks to whoever loaded a avatar for me. I doubt if I would have ever done so, this hole posting thing is new to me. Never post anything before so bear with me.
