Hello Again

Hello again everyone, it's been a while since I've been here, and it's well time I explained why. The best way to sum it up would be Social Anxiety. It's always bothered me a lot offline but online it hardly affected me at all until I graduated High School and got into college. Then the fear and anxiety of meeting new people and talking to those I didn't know well really flaired up. I didn't mind hanging around those people, but I would get really nervous and could never think of anything to say.

In the two years I've been there I've stayed mostly to myself and around my room mate, and online I've pretty much stayed within one community; within many other's I've been a part of, including my old art gallery, I've all but disappeared.

Last semester my room mate and I had a long talk, he told me that either I was going to find some help or he'll drive me up a wall. After that he started to "kidnap" me away from the room and drag me around with some of his friends...needless to say I was less than thrilled.

I finally belt up and got tested for and was diagnosed with Social Anxiety. Right now I'm on a medication that does help, though it does heck with my ADHD .

Well, it's a silly excuse, but that's how it was. I'm really trying to break through it completely, and reforge the ties I've broken. I have a lot of catching up to do, and hopefully now I can talk about more things other than the weather hehe.

Welcome back to MSFC Icewolf, it's great to see old members coming back.

It's been a while thats for sure. I hope you enjoy your time here, we have members from all over the world some with medical conditions and others who don't but they are all treated equally as they are all equal. You don't have to fear about any harassment here as the staff will squash it if it happens fast. We don't allow that kind of behaviour and it's also a founding principle of this site.

If you need any help the staff and our members are all too happy to help. I hope we will be seeing you around more regularly.
