• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

Have a Nice Day

Hi Folks,

I'm new here in this Forum.
I had started with Modding Armada 2 some weeks ago. Therefore I had changed some Mods for DOW 1 and 2.
(ok.. just the ODF's at the Moment - but I think I had done my jobs very well:D)

If anyone wants some help .. Just send me a PN. ;)
I will help as many as I can.

Wish you a nice day.

Cheers

Welcome, have fun!

If you're somewhat new at A2 modding, you might want to take a look at some of the community's jewels. If you haven't already read it, the Big Book of Modding is an excellent reference. If you'd like to see what some of us are capable of, take a look at Jetfreak's and Majestic's stuff, or Achilles' Art Of War mod (you can get that from A2Files). Oh, and don't forget Thunderfoot's physics project, makes unit movement much more realistic. I don't want to work without that one. Those are the stuffs that the average modder looks up to... :)

Hi and welcome! Most of us started modding A2 with the ODFs. Good way to learn what the game can and cannot do quickly!

While I am flattered, Terra, I do not think my stuff really is in the same league as the others you've mentioned. I get really lucky once in awhile with a great idea and I have lots of people who offer to help me out when I do. Heck, with the kind of help I get from people, ANYONE could have made the Physics Project.
