• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

Happy Independence Day

Sorry that you feel that way. The land we now call the USA had to take a stand against unfair oppression. And because of that, the world is a better place. Perhaps the U.K. will someday be rejoined with the US... But in a united world...One World, One Race.

Until then, Happy Independance Day to all the citizens of the USA. Try not to hurt yourself with any fireworks.

true but you got the fifth of November "Guy Fawkes Day " November 5, is still celebrated in England with fireworks and bonfires, on which effigies of the conspirator are burned

The annoying thing is lots of countries get holidays like Independence day but we in the UK don't as we never got Independence:(

Lol. OK, no hard feelings. I didn't even take one hint of offense olé' chap. My apologies for any misunderstanding.

Perhaps England should celebrate with us on our Independence day. After all, if it was not for the American revolt, people would most likely be less free in general. And since we as nations have for the most part resolved our differences, there is no reason for not celebrating with us.

And let's not forget the Scots either. If memory serve me well of history, they fought off Tyranny long before the Americas were even discovered. It is a day in which everyone across this planet we all share can take part in.

Nowadays, where ever Tyranny rules, they can be sure the both the US and the UK will be there ready to take them down a notch or two.

I'm not sure why we should be celebrating the execution of someone who failed to blow up the govenment, had he actually suceeded, then all credit to him.

The strange thing about the american independance is that only about a 1/3 of american's at the time wanted it. The rest either were loyalists or didn't care. Just so happens that the 1/3 that wanted it were luckiest. Still, we got to laugh about it afterwards, you ended up killing each other over slavery *cough*money*cough* and spent the rest of your time blindly searching for gold and massacuring the natives and the buffalo, god praise the land of the free

:) you know I'm only messing. (btw great job with the smilies round here.)
