• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

    Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

    We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

Has anyone seen this movie?

In my opinion, I thought it was pretty good. It wasn't far off from what Die Hard 4 (Live Free, Die Hard) was about.

I found some similarities between this movie and Armageddon.
1. Billy Bob Thorton - instead of Head of NASA, is Head of a FBI Unit
2. Soundtrack - eventhough Hans Zimmer didn't do the Eagle Eye Soundtrack, they both sounded very similar in style

Similarities between Eagle Eye and Die Hard 4:
1. Wasn't over-hyped prior to release.
2. Didn't try to be anything that it wasn't, and what it was was AWESOME! It was an a$$-kicking good movie.

Similarities or connections between Die Hard 4, Eagle Eye, and Armageddon:
1. Bruce Willis starred in Die Hard 4 and Armageddon, Armageddon was similar to Eagle Eye because of the soundtrack and agency stuff (NASA-FBI).
2. Billy Bob Thorton was in Armageddon as Head of Houston Communications, he was head of the FBI in Eagle Eye.

So I like this movie a lot. Anything that has a connection of sorts to Armageddon and Die Hard sounds pretty good to me.

By itself though, the movie is just great! Worth a watch.
