Dead Like Me resurrected

Found out from SFX that there is a new Dead Like Me movie to be released straight to DVD. It is unknown whether any of the original cast will be in it but MGM has stated that Stephen Herek, director of Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure has been assigned to direct the project.

This is wonderful news.

Ohh, I liked it as well. Haven't seen an ep in ages, though. Nice to hear that its making a come-back, movie-wise.

Just got new information about the movie with some plot details:

Most of the original cast have returned to reprise their characters but not Mandy Pantikin (Rube) and a new character has been introduced in his place Cameron or Calvin Kane played by Henry Ian Cusick.

Due to her unavailability Laura Harris did not return to play Daisy Adair and the character was recast to Sarah Wynter. Funnily enough Laura and Sarah played sisters on 24!

Though I am EXTREMELY happy that the show will get a movie, its not going to be the same without Mandy Petinkin...

So is Bryan Fuller going to be involved with the movie, as he created the show...
(He is a funny guy in person BTW...)

Found out that the new movie has just been released in North America.

Spotted the movie at JB Hi-Fi last week here in Australia but did not buy it. Hopefully I do so sometime in the future.

Anyway the movie is called Life After Death and it was released at the beginning of this month:
