• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

    Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. Thought I am not too up to date with the shows as I am waiting for the DVD box sets I personally believe its the US vessel and not the Russians.

As one of you said above the Russian Colonel Cheokov is a major recurring character and it would almost be like Teal'C, Carter or one of the other major characters dying. So this has lead me to believe its the US BC-304 and not the Russian one.

thats one good battle. i like the russian 1 way better tho kinda funny just there accents (sorry to any russians out there). does that not show both ships getting destroyed tho. Anyone any ideas how this will end up in the nxt series? (to be hounest ive barely watched much of the new series as of yet so i had to listen quite carefully on this ep.)

if i was there i would have used the asgaurds time dilation divice (the 1 they used on the replicators) to keep the ori there till they had anough ships to face them

during the battle the ships should have concentrated their fire all on one ship so they would have more chance of destroyig the ori's shields

I haven't seen any of the new series. I am waiting for the dvds.

By watching that click the Ori look and sound pretty powerful. I saw several Asguard ships in there so if they could take down the Asguard then they would be more of a threat than the Wraith from Atlantis.

Well, not really, as ancient tech is superior to asquard.

Plus, did we ever see the asguard ship take damage? All I saw was the weapon hit the shields.

So the Ori are ancients are they? Also I haven't seen the episode so bear with me. ;) :lol:

Close, The Ori and the Ancients are of the same people, yes. But the difference lies in that they broke off, much as the US, and England did in the 1700's. While they both began as one, is it entirely possible that the Ori and the Ancients developed along slightly different line, each with different strenghts and weaknesses. A good indication is the Ori crave power above all else, as where the Ancients desire knowledge. Just my opinion though.

It's the Russians that get destroyed, sorry. Teal'c is on on of the Hataks, Daniel and Mitchell are on the Korelev (Sp?). In the very next episode (Ep. 10.01) you find out Daniel transports over to one of the Ori ships and Mitchell is in is a 302.

The Ori leave them to 'spread the news', so to speak.

SPOILER FOLLOWING: For anyone who really wants to know....

If memory serves me correctly the Asquard Sips where destroyed. I think they said only a few of the Ha'taks (sorry if not spelled right) and (cant think for the life of me the name of the 304) but the US Ship was left intact.

***MORE SPOILERS***

The Asgard ship was fit as a fiddle, no serious damage. Yes the Korolev is the one that bites it, sorry guys. and I believe all but 1 or 2 Hataks were destroyed. There were no 303's (only one was Prometheus) just the two 304's for the humans.

Sorry was late and frogot weather it was the 303 of 304.

Not a problem, I find it easier to remember since it was the X-303 and there was only one.
