Babylon 5 ships in "Galactic Civilization III"

Hi all,

I think it is ok recommend a game here correct? If this is inappropriate please feel free to delete.
I have been working on a MOD (more like shipset) for a 4X game call Galactic Civilization III

I have a few shipsets, mostly around Earth Force, Mimbari, Vorlon etc (Shadows are too hard to design).

Terrific collection jchung, I like many of the designs that you have gathered. I don't have Galactic Civilization III, the last 4x game I could run on my old computer was Space Empires IV and now I am hooked on playing Stellaris on my PS4.

I'd love to see some of those designs make their way to A2, particularly the Aliens collection. Back in my B5A2 days, one of my friends was a modeler for the TC and he made me a Conestoga Class Frigate which I still use to this day in my personal mod.

Best of luck with the shipsets, great variety. I'd recommend you consider one of my favorite series and their ships, Space Above and Beyond; while there aren't many canon designs from the short lived series, there are plenty of non-canon ones that modders of different games have made up to cover the gaps. Hmm, also ones I wish were on A2, LOL.

I created all of them, although a few other people did other B5 races and one guy did a S:A&B Carrier Saratoga. he did such a good job I decided not to create a new one. You should check it out.

Give you get a chance, try GCIII with my 'mod/change'. I think you will like it The requiremnet is actually quite low

Come to think of it... the A2 B5 mod has a Conestoga Class Frigate.... I was laughing when I saw that

Does it? I know we made a lot of ships based on the B5 Wars miniature game. That had the Tethys Cutter and the Artemis Frigate for the pre-Minbari War EA. I do not recall a Conestoga, at least not the one from Aliens, in there. It's been a while since I looked over those files though.

I will double check tonight and send a screen cap out. I never quite got the hang of B5 Armada2... so I just load it up to admire the ships

I've heard before that there's a B5 mod for Cal Civ 3.. is this the one? or is there another one out there? Or maybe I'm thinking of Gal Civ 2.

If there's a mod that also changes the races to B5 factions then man do I need to play that.

I played the B5 mod for Civilization 4 (with the Final Frontier space conversion mod) and it was unbelievable. I was completely addicted for months. So if there's a Gal Civ B5 total conversion mod then I'd be all over that as it would be a very similar experience.
